Do you need to know the Girona airport location?
Many people believe the airport to be closer to Barcelona than it really is.
Ryanair call it Girona Barcelona, but it is almost an hours drive from Barcelona.
Girona Airport is located south of Girona Centre near the towns of Vilobi D'Onyar and located only a few minutes from the AP-7 Motorway. Getting to the airport by car is extremely easy, but if you use the AP-7 it will cost you, as this is a toll road. You can also get to Girona Airport using the N11, and this is free, but usually has more traffic, and will take you longer at certain times of the year.
